Dr Galli-Tsinopoulou is a graduate of the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She received the title of Pediatrics after training at the Pediatric Clinics of Ludwig Maximilian University Munich Germany and 2nd Department of Pediatrics of AUTH, AHEPA University General Hospital. She specialized in Pediatric Endocrinology at the Endocrinology Department of the Pediatric Clinic of Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and in Diabetology at the Diabetology Center of the 1st Department of Internal Medicine AUTH, AHEPA University General Hospital. Since 2002 she is a member of the Academic Staff of AUTH. Educated on Health and Adolescent Care (European Training Session in Adolescent Care and Health) at the University of Lausanne in collaboration with the World Health Organization. Coordinates the selected postgraduate course “Adolescent Medicine” [Postgraduate Program (MSc) of the School of Medicine, AUTH]. She teaches Pediatric Endocrinology – Diabetology to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has a rich clinical and research work with publications in Greek and foreign language medical journals, has authored chapters in books on Endocrinology, Diabetology of children and adolescents as well as adolescent medicine. She is a reviewer in international medical journals. She has received awards for her research and scientific work, including the Athens Academy Award. She was President of the Pediatric Society of Northern Greece and a member of the boards of scientific societies as well as committees for education and evaluation. Participated as a representative of the course of Pediatrics in the Quality Assurance Unit of AUTH.
Since September 2019 she is the Head of the 2nd Department of Pediatrics AUTH, AHEPA University General Hospital.
Since February 2021, she is the Director of the MSc Program “Adolescent Medicine and Adolescent Health Care”, School of Medicine AUTH.
